BUSY? NEVER FEAR! You can still create something new and tasty to chase away the dinnertime blues. In this installment of 90 Minutes to Dinner, Frances shares her formula for making Savory Galettes. Whether you make them vegan, vegetarian or omnivore, they are fun to prepare and a great way to repurpose odds and ends from your crisper drawer or pantry.

Frances will teach you to use a Master Recipe for Galettes, advising what mix of ingredients marry well together, and how to take your crusty creations from good to great! Try your hand at making Super Dough, the recipe Frances has been sharing with grateful students for decades. You could also make your galette using ready made dough or puff pastry from the grocery freezer section, with delectable results.

As our class concludes, you’ll have dinner on the table (or a superb breakfast, lunch or dinner ready to bake off the next day if you choose) and the knowledge to improvise your own galettes all year long.
