Celebrate local seafood! Chef Frances will discuss how to choose fish and shellfish, and methods of cooking for each type. She will also give you various recipe ideas for the particular fish we're using in class.
Civic Kitchen is partnering with Monterey Fish Market to supply you with a customized box (of fin fish and shellfish) to pick up from Pier 33 on the day of class, or at heir store in Berkeley. You can also purchase your own fish.
You will then cook along with Frances as she makes two fish dishes, one to eat that night and another you can serve the following day.
