Frances knows her way around a festive menu! In this hands-on, in-person cooking session, she will teach you to make a variety of splendid side dishes to enhance your holiday table.

In addition to recipes, Frances will share a game plan to help take the stress out of hosting Thanksgiving (or any other meal) while gracefully accommodating all manner of dietary preferences. A little something special elevates each dish—from cozy Curried Sweet Potato and Coconut Soup to crisp, refreshing Persimmon, Pomegranate and Fennel Salad, Classic Stuffing and a quick Cranberry Chutney to luscious Confit of Winter Vegetables, the collection will bring beautiful color and flavorful interest to your meal. And of course, we haven't forgotten the Great Turkey Gravy! Frances will show you how to use homemade Turkey Stock, or vegetable stock if you prefer it, for the glossy—never gloopy!—gravy of your dreams.

Most of these recipes may be made in advance, ready to embellish or simply reheat on the day of your feast. Let Frances lead the way to a more flavorful and relaxed holiday feast!

As our session concludes around the dining table, we’ll sample all of the dishes made during class, accompanied by wine, beer or a selection of non-alcoholic beverages. You may also take your food to-go if you choose.
